"Moana 2," the sequel to the 2016 animated hit, is set to release on November 27, 2024, alongside "Wicked." The film follows Moana as she responds to a call from her ancestors and ventures into dangerous waters. The cast includes Auli’i Cravalho as Moana and Dwayne Johnson as Maui, with a new crew of seafarers. The music is composed by Abigail Barlow, Emily Bear, Mark Mancina, and Opetaia Foa’i, with Lin-Manuel Miranda unlikely to contribute new music.
