Galaxies from baby universe caught by JWST

The James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) has identified two of the earliest and most distant galaxies, JADES-GS-z14-0 and JADES-GS-z14-1, dating back 300 million years after the Big Bang. These findings extend our understanding of the cosmic dawn and are both ancient and unusually large for such an early period in cosmic history.
