Missing Harvard woman believed found dead; ex-boyfriend sought, police say
Police are looking for the ex-boyfriend of the Missing Harvard woman who is believed to be found dead.
A Missing Harvard woman, name Mary Anderson, 23, who lives in the town of Harvard, went missing over the weekend. Authorities had been searching for Mary Anderson since then.
They found her truck Tuesday up in Brattleboro, Vt., according to a news release from the staties — and a dead body they believe to be hers inside.
r_first_paragraph -->Police now are looking to locate and speak with Matthew Davis, 34, of Fitchburg, “who may have information relevant to this ongoing investigation,” according to the staties, who said that Davis is Anderson’s ex- boyfriend and that he’s had previous run-ins with the law.
Police have publish details about him, he is a white man about 5 feet 6 inches tall with brown hair and blue eyes. Police said he has connections to the Pittsfield region.
Massachusetts State Police are assisting Vermont State Police in the investigation into Anderson’s disappearance and death, and police continue to investigate “the circumstances and reason of her sudden disappearance.”
Anyone with information on Davis’s whereabouts, or who may have seen Davis or Anderson, either together or separately, in the last few days, is requested to call Vermont State Police in Westminster at 802-722-4600 or simply call 911.
Anderson’s mother told multiple TV outlets that Anderson and Davis split up last year after dating for three years.
